The Dana Point 5th Marine Regiment Support Group (DPMRSG) Board is comprised of citizens who reside in the Dana Point area that willingly devote substantial time and talent to achieve goals that will benefit active duty 5th Marine Regiment Personnel and their Families. Learn more or Contact Us.

Our Mission...

The specific charitable purpose of our Dana Point 5th Marine Regiment Support Group is to provide Support and Assistance to the Children, Dependents & Spouses, and our Marines & Sailors that comprise the 5th MAR, whether deployed in combat or stationed at Camp Pendleton. In accordance with this trust, we strive to maintain the level of morale of our Troops and Families at as high a threshold as possible.

Who … Dana Point 5th Marine Regiment Support Group (DPMRSG) Board is comprised of citizens who reside in the Dana Point area that willingly devote substantial time and talent to achieve goals that will benefit active duty 5th Marines and their families.

You can join us and become a "friend of the 5th." Click the link on this page and complete the brief form. You will be notified of upcoming events and ways you can get involved.

What … With contributions of dollars, materials, time and talent of many individuals, companies, civic associations, and the city of Dana Point, the DPMRSG conducts fund raisers to obtain dollars and/or materials needed by the 5th Marines wherever they may be deployed or for their families in need of assistance that are in Camp Pendleton or nearby housing areas.

Where … Fund raising events will be held in Dana Point or nearby communities. Goodies boxes are mailed on a regular basis to our service men and women. You may contact our President (info listed below) if you would like to contribute. There will be several (as yet to be determined) drop off locations within the city for designated food, toiletry, footwear, and other needed items so they might be consolidated and shipped in bulk to our Troops in their respective combat zones at holiday time.

When … Our efforts with the 5th Marine Regiment will be ongoing. Your help and involvement is always welcome. Upcoming events will be made public. Continue to check this website to see when we will be holding car washes, concerts in the park, and "fun"draising dinners at some of our fine local restaurants. We can all work together towards our common goal of assisting the 5th Marine Regiment and their Families in these difficult time of continued deployment.

How … Funds are always needed to carry on our good work. You may help by making a tax deductible donation. Please make your checks payable to Dana Point 5th Marine Regiment Support Group or DPMRSG. Mail to the address below.

Help is also needed in the form of hands on volunteerism to our various committees. Contect us to determine how you can get involved and "give back" to our soldiers and sailors who are making the ultimate sacrifice by fighting for our freedom.
