The American Veterans Traveling Tribute Vietnam Memorial Wall is coming to Sea Terrace Community Park in Dana Point, California.

Below are the Calendar of Events for the Traveling Vietnam Memorial Wall during its time in the great City of Dana Point:
Wednesday, May 11, 2011 from 3:00-5:00pm - Welcoming Parade
Parade Route: The Welcome Parade will start on the corner of PCH & Camino Capistrano traveling north on PCH and will end at Sea Terrace Park on the corner of PCH and Niguel Road
Thursday, May 12, 2011 at Noon - Opening Ceremonies
The Opening Ceremonies of the American Veterans Traveling Tribute Vietnam Memorial Wall will take place at Sea Terrace Park in Dana Point. Plan on arriving at least 30 minutes early.
Thursday, May 12 through Sunday, May 15, 2011 - Public viewing of The Wall Open 24 hours a day
Location: Sea Terrace Park in Dana Point.
Sunday, May 15, 2011 at Noon - Special Ceremony and a day of music
There will be many local musicians playing music from the Vietnam War era from Noon to 8pm. Musicians include SOUTHTOWN, Keston Barker, Martin Gerschwitz, DHHS SOCSA String Quartet and many others soon to be listed here.
Monday, May 16, 2011 at Noon - Closing Ceremonies
The Closing Ceremonies of the American Veterans Traveling Tribute Vietnam Memorial Wall will take place at Sea Terrace Park in Dana Point. Plan on arriving at least 30 minutes early.

PARKING INFORMATION: Parking for Sea Terrace Park is located on the west side of PCH in the Salt Creek Beach parking lot. Parking is FREE for this event. Enter parking from Ritz Carlton Drive just off PCH, park your car in the designated area (look for signs that say VIETNAM WALL PARKING) and the walk through the tunnel that goes under PCH to Sea Terrace Park. The VFW is also providing golf cart transportation from the Parking Lot to the Event Site in Sea Terrace Park. (Map and Directions to Salt Creek Beach parking lot)
